The way to get better mpg's is a cold air intake, and bosch plugs. Then you should get beter mpg's

Hey A couple firefighters I work with also work on the fire/rescue crew at Talladega speedway. I work on Redstone Arsenal as a Federal fire-fighter. Do you know; Wendal Jones, Ed Lackey, or Phillip Webb, or Ed Herbster (Herby).

I've got a 07 f-150 5.4L and average 18. Best way to improve mpg's...keep your foot out of it. I know its hard. Other ideas, I got 1.5 average with a $330 roush CAI, same thing as the cheaper Airaid CAI for the 5.4L. Have plans for edge programmer and gibson exhaust. They should both improve mpgs

Try True Flow XDi Air intakes, I put one in my F250 Diesel and got 4 mpg more. They make air intakes for gas trucks too.
