sorry havent been on here in a while. The kid that bought my bII put a 289 with a c6 and dana 20 case. I would go with a 5.0 and a cast iron 4 speed with a 20 case. you get the granny first with the gear driven t case. plus the v8 power. Check www.therangerstation.com They have a lot of info on doing the v8 swap. Its an excellent source when building a bII.

hey sorry really haven't been on here much lately. My bronco has a rough country 4" lift with a pa 3" body.back half of the roof is cut and i made it removable. It has 34 10.50 15 tsl's on it.I made a set of half doors out of stock doors. It has an 8.8 in the rear and a exploder 35 in the front.Also has the exploder t case and front shaft on it. I'll try to post more pics real soon. I've been workin on my sami and haven't had a chance to do much of anything else. If you need any ideas let me know

I see you have a Bronco II , I'm working on a trail truck right now it's a 86 Ranger, I've put some 35 Buckshots on it, I just cut out the fenders to keep the center of gravity low.

Alan it's a frame from a 1974 Box Bronco, It a box frame instead of C- Channel. I did have to add 17 inches.
