i would talk to a couple tranny shops in area and see what it would cost to rebuild it and then check parts store for a reman unit. normally you get alot better/longer warranty with reman. i have rarely seen a fluid and filter change make a trans work better but it is possible tha the spools in valve body are sticky. a trans fluid flush is way better than just changing oil, and a flush will also tell you how good the trans pump is. as far as spring break goes, ride on man

what does the trans fluid look/smell like? is it dark or burnt? i wonder if its in the computor or bad speed sensor. the lock up solenoid for the torque converter may also be the problem. the trans itself may be ok but it doesnt know what to do because its getting bad signals from computor.

I am a Vetran Service Officer. Believe it or not , the Nam Vets are the ones who are fighting Washington to help all vets of all wars or eras. Your country turned their backs on us, but they will not turn it on the soldies who came after us. We are making sure of that. Thanks for the kind words.
