Michael bought his Mustang after Hurricane Katrina, and needless to say, the car was a disaster. He replaced the standard low back buckets with ‘87 sport seats, and recovered the complete interior in TMI's Mach 1 upholstery set. The dash features a custom wood backer for the Autometer "Cruiser" gauges, and the dash pad was also hand formed in wood to keep with his 60s theme.
Michael used a set of 94-96 Afterburner long tubes for the exhaust, and built the rest of the exhaust himself. He has 2.25" running trough Thrush welded mufflers in front of the axle, and then into Cherry Bomb glasspacks to mellow out the exhaust in an attempt to make it not sound like "just another Mustang." The engine is carbureted, and he used an Edlebrock Victor/MSD 6011 to handle induction/timing. The carburetor is a 600 CFM Holley Avenger, and he has since added Patriot Performance's Stage II CNC'd heads, with their Stage 1 cams. Other than the listed modifications, Michael says engine is stock.

Comment by Trojan Horse on April 4, 2012 at 11:57pm That's awesome Michael! Great job!
At first glance I thought it was a '67. The second glance I noticed the big side window. the two glances made me take a third and forth look. You have really built a very nice and interesting car. The old and the newer combined so seamlessly that you have to look at least twice to understand what you're looking at. very tastefully done. I like it so much that I'm going to email to a friend of mine. I'm impressed!
PS do you have pictures from other angles? would you post them?
I love it when people make random, incoherent and derogatory? comments, (full of grammatical and spelling errors) then disappear when challenged for clarification.
Hallutainating?
Please explain.
