mid engine mudder anyone??
hey I need a little tech help here, if anyone can help, it would be great. I have built 2 traditional mud trucks (1974 chevy 3/4 ton, and 1980 chevy 3/4 ton) and had moderate success. I have worked very hard the last year and acquired a 1985 chevy 1/2 4x4, a 1993 s-10 2wd and a 427 bbc good for 650 horsepower.
The plan is to shorten the 1985 chevy to 108'' wheelbase, and use the s-10 body. I want to put the 427 in the bed to help the weight transfer, and traction. Has anyone here tried to put something like this together? Any advice would be great, this will be the last one I build for awhile, so I want this to be "one for the record books."
