Martin I don't know the episode, but Warn has exploded views of their winches and parts lists on their web site, if you have any questions fire away, I have rebuilt/repaired several Warn winches.

Example: '76 K5(trashed), 2-'89 XJs, '78 Scout II(good cond. but not really what I want), '42 GPW(Fun but too small), '85 Toy 4wd(wife totalled front end and cab), '86 Toy 4wd(bought for cab w/bad 22R) and a FJ80 rolling chassis. I figured if I sold off some of these projects that I'll probably never complete, it would be a good start for my CJ8 that I really want! I could even get rid of a couple old muscle car projects I have.

Good point! LOL Sounds like you have lots of stuff sitting there, time to start some Pros and Cons lists for them.

Off the top of my head I'm not sure, but it's 26'. I've got plenty of donor vehicles but i'm not sure which would be best or easiest. I figure it's just as easy to shorten a frame as it would be to stretch one right?
Rob Comment by Rob on October 18, 2009 at 1:13pm
How heavy is the Camp trailer? Ideally you could take any old school CJ and do a frame stretch and box it up to support the motor. You could also get away with a mechanical 12V with a P pump that could make more then enough power with out all of the electronic issues you will have to deal with on the CTD.
