Hey carhugger...I guess it depends what look your going for...you didn't say if your Ranger is a 4X2 or a 4X4....a couple of guys in this area have built prerunners with their 4X2's...man they sure look cool....and handle great out on the mesa.....and as Jeremy said a small block is the way to go.....good luck on your project and keep us posted on your progress...Jim

I don't know about you guys but even if your ride is "finished" it's not really "FINISHED"......I keep changing my mind and trying different stuff.... I don't think I'll ever be finished.........Jim
