After getting my project home and stripping off the paint from the rear, the metal cancer was discovered. At some time in this cars life those big holes were completely filled with bondo....Well one piece at a time and weld it up right this time. A lite coat of filler to smooth it out and on to the next injury......

The model A looks like it is in great condition. Where did he find it?

Here's my contribution to this group. Although I have several projects going on right now, I've put them all on hold for this one. It's a 1930 ford model A.
It's my dad's toy, but he hasnt been able to work on it for years because he's always helping everyone else with all of their problems and things, but now he has cancer and doesnt have very much time left, so I'm trying to finish it for him so he can have some fun with it, and get some enjoyment out of it.
I'll put up a few pics now, and then put up more as I move along with it.

Just a Gear Head Cop who is building a 1963 Ford Fairlane into a "Andy Griffith, Beat the Heat drag car". With a hint of the T-Bolt (More like a Zimmy I cop car). After dragging out the old girl from the depths of a 25+ year rest the real work begins. I am doing 99.9% of the work myself and look forward to sharing it with everyone and when finished using it as a education tool for the youth. Hi! Call me choptop. My under-construction is this 53 chevy 5 window chop top. It is my daily driver. Just joined the group so i'll be looking forward to swapin ideas with everyone. Been doin this for a long time and get a bigger rush out of firing up the plasma cutter (or sewing up a killer seat cover) than most "normal" people can even imagine. I'm sure the rest of you can relate to that. Anyway, looking forward to rappin with ya.
