Getting front suspension finished up.
There should be 2 relays, one for the emergency blinkers, and one for the turn signals. See if you cant probe for 12v at the blinker one and if no voltage, go back to the turn signal switch. Hope you have checked your fuses first?
hey guys, sorry it has been awhile. Been real busy. Anyways, here is my problem. I'm fixing a friends 04 Chevy Cavalier. It has two major problems that I can't find the problem too.
First is the blinkers. The emergency lights work but the right and left turn signals don't. Ive already tried the relay just in case and I just replaced the Turn Signal switch inside the steering column but still no luck.
Second is the A/C - Heater. When you turn the car on it has a horrible knocking/banging noise come from inside the dash. This had originally done it only when the air was on (which barely even blew) but does it continuously now. The lack of air and the noise made me think it was the blower which has been the case in my Chevy trucks but after replacing the blower motor it still continued acting up.
Could anyone give me some guidance here. Ive read every article and you tube video I could find for this car and I'm at the end of my rope.
Almost got the control arms finished.
places not live - California, check. Miami, check.
hate that for ya.
You guys are going to love this. In Miami-Dade County, I had a code enforcement officer stop by and give me a warning that it is against code to have a vehicle on my property that has the engine removed, or needs repairs that will last more than 72 hours. In other words, If I can not start it and drive it within 72 hours, it has to be removed from the property. It can not stay in my closed garage even! This place is crazy. See section (B) at https://www.municode.com/library/fl/miami_-_dade_county/codes/code_...
Getting ready to detail the rear axle after sand blasting off all the rust. All visible factory markings were documented for reapplication first.
Working on the opentracker racing DYI Upper and Lower control arm kits I bought a while back.
Not a lot of progress, back has been hurting a bit.
