hey Steven James. The stock water pump would be the way to go, but to take tension off of it, i would take the fan off, and put an electric fan in it. I've done this to my jeep, and right off the bat, it helps with the torque and also dont need to worry about so much pressure on the belt.

Wow that's a good deal.
I have seen pictures of people who have hit trees with grille guards and although the guard usually protects a good portion of the cosmetics it damages the frame it's bolted or welded too.
But $200 for a donor truck that's pretty good for a decent one.

nope the bumper i have on there is twisted a little. but i got the donor truck for $200 so i can't complain too much about it.

Thanks!
Did your frame bend when the grille guard hit the rail?

The Truck is a work in progress and my girlfriend Mary and I are in the truck. Just to clarify to those who might go grammar crazy on me.

A work in progress, this is my "better than good friend" Mary and me in the Annual Antique car parade during the Michigan state BBQ competition, held in Kingsford, MI. (like the charcoal) :D Kingsford is also the home of many Model T's (a.k.a Flivvers) and Wood paneled cars from the 20s through the 40s or 50s. Much because of the dense forests found in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Some pretty nice History in this town.
