I just can't beleive no one has said anything about one of the best Car Movies ever shot, "Hollywood Knights". The movie featured Project X, 1957 Chevrolet and many other fine examples of High Horsepower Excitement. This is a movie no car guy should be without.
Sounds like a good movie , what year did it come out ?

Ed, The Movie was release in 1988 I beleive. It is a hard movie too find. I am not sure if it is available for sale. Here is a link to one of the race segments from the movie. , you may have to paste to address bar. If it does not work do a search for Hollywood Knights.
Also just a little behind the sceans info. The Blower on Project X was a Gary Dyer kit that included a manifold made from a single 4 barrel Offy, they then welded a 1 inch plate to bolt the blower to. Under heavy bost it had a bad habbit of blowing out the gasket. If you watch the race with the Cobra you will see fuel blowing over the roof of the 57. It was a major porblem with that setup, that is why on my motor I had them take a Weiand tunnel ram without the airbox and weld the plate to that. I never had any problems with the base gasket no matter how much boost I ran. I passed this along to Doug Marion, Super Chevy Mag Editor at the time. I don't think they ever changed their setup. The owner of the 57 at the time was Peterson Publishing and a couple of years ago underwent a complete over haul by the fine engineers at Chevrolet Skunk works. Project X will live for ever.
