Wolfman, not to take away from the 16V but I have to say that the 8V has been very reliable for me. I have not had any sensor or electrical issues with it, unlike the guys I know that run the 16V and the 1.8L motors. Seems like all it takes is a little water in the wrong spot and you are limping home. If I may offer some input on your suspension, look into doing a SOA and get rid of the extended shackles. As you start getting into tougher trails or any climbs that have trees down or rocks in the way, you will find them hanging you up.

Fenderless is great, more room for tires. This thing started out at 94" and is now sitting at 101". I am looking at around 106-108" The longer the wheel base the better it climbs to a point. The down side is the longer it gets the harder the tight trails become. I am able to run all the trails in this area now, and if the 10 point turn can't get me through a corner, she will go up and over just about any tree that is laying around or at the very least around in other areas LOL!

Thanks Rob, I am going to try going fenderless I think with my samurai. My Jimny is just starting life. It's a 95 and unmalested as of yet. It's going to be my wifes mild offroad for those days friends don't want to go with me she can be my extraction vehicle. hahahha nice job on your LWB I thought those had a longer wheel base than samurais and ya still need it longer?

Meanbgreen, That has to be the cleanest Zuk I have seen in a long time.

Figured I should stop in here and see what is going on with my fellow Zuk drivers. My 87 LWB goes by the name of Frogzilla. It started life with me as a SPOA and 31's and has gone through several stages of growth to its current Custom frame stretch sitting on YJ's over Toyota's and 38" TSL's. I cannot complain about how it performs, the only major change I would like to see is Coil overs to let her flex more and to lengthen the wheel base and improve approach and departure angles.
