Hey Ruler,
I have to default to the old hot rodder's adage...speed costs money, how fast do you want to go? On the budget end u can swap the manifold, install a bigger cam, add headers and a carb and youll have enough improvement to easily feel in the seat of your pants. If the budget allows, you can go to Summit Racing and find a couple different sets of iron heads that are Summit's private brand. One is based on GM Vortec style castings and the other is based on Dart Iron Eagle SS castings. Either will support 400hp depending on your cam selection and carry a $650 price tag. If you have money to spend then a stroker kit is the way to go. Youll need to run run heads with intake ports around 200cc and more cam to take advantage of the cubes. Without knowing some specifics about your car and expected use of it thats about all the guidance I can give you. Have fun!
