Sleepers

The old unsuspecting cars that creep on you at a red light that are old, rust buckets, and granny cars that make you eat their dust when it turns green and leaves you feeling embarassed in your mustang, camaro, firebird, or whatever.

well i just joined and the powerblock and i have this 73 bug looks like a sleeper from the out side but as soon as i put the paddle to the metal i have gotten to do one foot weal-lies and prackteckly smoke the competition most of the time. vw Under the hood i have a 1914cc about 200 horses with two dual 48 Webber carbs, high lift cams, freakwen fliyer trany, upgraded the suspention for better handling.thats all i would really like to fix it up better but no $$$

Hey all just joined and thinkin of makin my truck into a sleeper. It's an 84 GMC long wheel base, I will get some pics up as soon as I get them. Right now it has a 350/700R4 combo with 3:08 cogs. But I would like to make it a 396 small block with a set of 3:73's so it's still streetable. What do you think?

hey, nice group. sleepers are definately my favorite kinds of modified cars. I'll make a video of my Cutlass Supreme and post it on here. My Cutlass looks just like any other Cutlass but you realize it isnt until the key gets turned and you stomp on the gas.

I am hopefully about to start a Sleeper project that is a Ford Falcon should I add airbags or springs?
