Anyone know a quick cheap way to repair small rustholes in floorpans and trunks? Most are about the size of a #2 pencil. I dont want to have to replace the pans in the floor and trunk but there are alot of small holes. the steel is still very stable, no flexing. Some one had told me to place a piece of tape over the holes underneath and coat with standard epoxy. Then when it cures used roll on bedliner to cover the epoxy and prevent further rust. Has anyone ever tried this before?
sounds like a good way to create a Flinstone mobile man. You might try using some brass backings and just welding the little holes and then grinding down the highspots, you know basic metal working type stuff (only on a very tedius scale)
