We had a wheeling meet with Explorers a couple of weeks ago, and I seen some Explorers do some amazing crawling! The RTI ramp was a great place to show off the articulation by most, but the real deal was on the trails! From mild to wild was on hand. These were far from your average grocery getter. Seeing first hand what an IFS or a TTB can do on some steep rock climbs was impressive to say the least. The short wheel base is perfect for crawling, the power and crawl ratio was equally impressive as well. Lifting the Explorer for larger tires was done in different ways. Showing how versatile the FORD Explorer can be.
