Ya that 76 will get restored! I actually got 90% of the panels for it brand new last christmas which I guess are my dads now! But that dosent matter to me cause ive got a kick ass 98 now!! My dad actually has three trucks he plans on restoring! He's got that 76 that was mine, a 66 chevy long box with a 454 big block in it cranking about 500 horses and he got a 53 chevy stepside with an EFI 350 small block in it.

You got that right! I did something like that with my son when he was younger. The difference is he isn't into pickups so it was a Firebird but we had a ball working on it. That '76 looks saveable I hope thats what is in the cards for it. Square bodies are the new "classics" for Chevy fans. Mine has been in the family since new and I'm the second owner. I bought a 6.0L LQ4 at the Back to the '50's Show last year . Engine and transmission plus a reprogrammed computer as a unit and the computer was reprogrammed to the specs on my truck by Nordstrom's Auto. As soon as the weather warms up I'll be able to get back into the garage and finish the install. Again, congrats on the new truck lets get 'em all back on the road.

That sounds great, is your dad availlable to adopt me? Too bad you had to give up the '76 but that means there's one more for the rest of us to build.

Hey hows everyones Old Chevy Trucks in Progress going? I just got a new truck that my dad bought me but the deal was I had to give him my 1976 Chevy! I got a 1998 Chevy 1500 Short Box Single Cab 4x4 Z71 that is in perfect shape, no rust or dents and has a new paint job. I think that it was a hell of a trade!! I'll get some pics of it up soon! And it still counts for this group because i plan on turning it into a Crazy Ass 4x4ing machine.
