Anyone know the trick to installing the emblems on the front fenders?

Permalink Reply by Kasey on October 21, 2009 at 11:24am: the fenders have the pre-marked holes on them where the old ones were, but what I am finding is that that its not as easy as slapping them on, opening the hood and tightening them down. Because of the inner-fender wall, I can't even get a hand in there where the emblems would be poking through.

The last emblems were glued on by the body shop that had painted the truck in 96. They fell off. . . So I have 2 new ones and I'm looking for a trick that doesn't use the "glue shortcut."
