For a three inch lift i have never had to lengthen a drive shaft. hope it works out for you.

Not necessarily. With the proper application of heat it can be done without the loss of any strength.

chris ur truck should sound real nice w dual flowmasters. im think im goin to go with 1&2. but if u stretch them wont that make them weak?

James, first of all, thanks. I'll take your suggestion about the breathing better. I also plan to rid myself of the recently installed factory exhaust setup in favor of headers and true dual flowmasters. As far as your coils you have a few options:1) stretch 'em to include the additional height, 2) add spacers above the spring and below the mount, 3) new taller coils, or 4) a combination of 1 and 2.
