I am thinking of joining the Law enforcement how any police members out there like it? "
Make sure you have a back-up plan. I went to College for Crimnal Justice. Was an Sgt for a Department here in Indiana from 98-05. In 2005 I got hurt on the job, and wasn't able to contnue beng a sworn officer. Luckily back in 2001 I took a second job as a civilian for another Department for the extra income which I still work. I miss being a Sworn Officer, but am still part of the brotherhood with my current job which luckily I was able to keep. Make sure you have a back-up plan. I highly suggest if you plan on going to College to choose something other then Criminal Justice for your Degree, so you will have something to fall back on. I took full advantage of the Department I served as a SGT for training which is what lead me to my current career, Crash Reconstructionist.

I had to fly to Las Vegas last week and escort two fugitives back to Chattanooga. The Bonnie and Clyde pair had over 40 felony warrants on them so they decided to run, and run they did. Right into a Roscoe P. Coltrain speed trap in the middle of Nevada-32mph in a 25mph zone. It sure is funny how things work there way out. Run but you can't hide forever........
