here's something for the "cops and car guys" in all of us...I had the opportunity tio attend the SEMA show last week in Vegas as part of a research project, giving an enthusiast's opinion of new products...after the research part of our day we could wander about the show....as my interst is mostly in hotrods, that and the restoration areas were what I attended...check out the photos, lots of great Deuces, some stars I'm sure you'll recognize and some great old race cars.....and all because I threw my name in a hat, so to speak...WORK SAFE
Hey guys, I just got back from combat shotgun instructor course. this was an outstanding course! (about 300 to 400 rounds in two days with a benelli M1 entry, it was a blast) It is offered by Rayburn Law Enforcement Training. The guy is good. The site is combatgunfighting.com. He will travel to your dept and hold the class if your dept would want to host the class. He gives the hosting department 2 slots in the class for free. Just have to already be a firearms instructor. i'm going to try and see if my department will host a different class (yea right), but I'll try.
Believe me, I have no ties to this guy, his training is good, just trying to pass along some info for my brothers and sisters in blue.

Hello all, I'm a deputy sheriff with the Merced County Sheriff's Department in California. Many may ask, "where's Merced?" Well Merced is in the center of Califronia between Modesto and Fresno along Hwy 99... I've been in Law Inforcement for about 8 years now and enjoy being an off road motorcycle deputy riding a DRZ 400.
My real passion lately has become my 1964 International Scout 80. I've been working on restoring the beast from something i found burried in some guys back yard about 3 years ago. i have several pictures of what the scout looked like when i first got it, but need to update the photos to what it looks like now. i'll add the photos within the next couple days.

Hello everybody, I'm 18 years old. I'm still not done high school yet, but once I'm done, I'm planning on either joining the RNC (Royal Newfoundland Constabulary) or the RCMP. One thing about me becoming an officer is I won't be able to do all the fun stuff on the road that I use to do. haha
