Alright I was curious does anyone know where I can buy the stock tire carrier for an 1989 4dr XJ other than at a dealership? Also the stock Pushbars that wre an option from the factory? I currently am restoring a 1989 XJ and I wanted to add some options onto them just to give it that little extra touch!!!

Please someone help!!! I really dont want to buy a aftermarket tire carrier that will cost me an arm and a leg when I can just get the stock one. I want this to be a weekend wheeler but a historic rebuild at the sametime! I greatly appreciate anyones help!!!

Also check your local salvage yards. Always a possibility there too, but donnie had a good suggestion with Davey's Jeeps. If they don't currently have it...they will most surely have it in the future (if not, find one for you).

I all ways loved going to the salavge yards, put together a 64 and 66 chevells out of the yards. it was allways fun and if you know what the price is new they are about 50 precent less or more i bought a drive shaft that goes for $270.new i paid $25.00 for it. i had to take it out my self but thats half the fun, you year jeep will be easy to find parts for, call first to see if they have what you need, remember "we buy junk,we sell used parts" is on the back of all thier cards. good luck in your hunt.

Thanks you guys! Sadly none of the junk yards in my area have anything i need... and I didnt get a chance to check out what daveys had though I might call later for something else. I found what i need from a guy locally he is parting out his XJ that he rolled so i got lucky the front end and rear end didnt even get touched haha now i just gotta wait to see if he likes my offer on money!!!

Thanks again!!!
