I have a 750 proform that on the street or on level trails does fine, but it doesn,t like any kind of angle(hills, off camber ect.).Does anyone know of any mods to correct this problem?Float level is set to the bottom of sight plug.Would a hose connecting the vent tubes help?
Yes that would help, You would also need to drill at least 4, 1/4 inch holes on top. also check your fuel pressure! needs to be no more than 7psi. oh and is it 4 corner idle?

hey dude, i'm runnin a holley truck avenger and ive had it on some pretty decent side angles and the motor doesnt even sputter, i used to live near an old coal pit and i did some pretty steep hillclimbs and not a problem. i highly recommend them, i got a 670, on a 355 smallblock with the comp cams extreme off road cam in it, works great. cheers.
Hey guys, i know this may not work for my application but, i figured "steep hills and hopping go hand in hand". i generelly run a holley 750 double pumper in my impala. i AM KNOWN FOR AN OCASSIONAL GAS HOP HERE AND THERE.... point is im having problems keeping running after a couple of ups and downs.. I heard that the avenger was/is really hard to fine tune, any tips??
Found a simple solution for my problem.I have always gone by the book on float level, set level right at sight plug, decided to drop the floats a little, made a big difference.Havent had any starvation problems even under full throttle through all gears.Don't know why I didn't try this sooner.
