No one added any besides me. I guess I covered the ranks with my two favorites. Number 1 is AFB (by Carter) AFB (by Edelbrock) Number 2 is The Holley, from 600 cfm to 850 cfm. I did forget the third, Number 3, but only because I never got it dialed in properly, The Predator Single barrel. Of course, it's a LARGE single, 970 cfm, but still a single. They all have a place, The requirements change, the carb changes. They all have good & bad points. Excelling in some areas, falling down in others.
I remember a story from forty plus yars ago. A guy wanted to know what combination of carbs he should run (the days of multiple carbs). He needed to get more gas in (enrichening), the answer was, of course, If you want to add more gas install larger, or drill, the jets. You add Carburetors to add AIR. If all you want is more gas, enlarging the jets, is by far, the easiest & least expensive way to increase fuel flow. OK, I'm done. Anyone else? Spike
