i put headman headders, dual 3" stainless steel exhaust from the header back, 3"in 3" out cats, and i went with 3" in 3" out cherry bomb glass packs for my mufflers, and i put 3.5" chrome tips on the ends and the truck sounds wicked. has the right amount of rumble and when you stand on the skinny pedal you can feel that there is a little more to it. i have also noticed that i get about a 16th more out of a tank of gas. as far as intakes go look at AEM or K&N

It all depends on how much work was put into your truck. I have a 88 gmc jimmy [full size] with a built 5.7 v8 . I put from the heads it was black diemond tub headers with a 3 and a half inch pipe then i put flowmaster from the headers a the back . A far as the air intake go with k@n air intake kits.
