good luck nick, how's things in vegas. I left in 98 when I retired. Hope you guy's get along with Smitty the new county fire chief. I last for 5 County Chiefs. Is John Ryan still around how about Washington? Went to paramedic school in the 70's with a lot of your guy's. I left as RuralCooridinator in charge of the volunteers in the outlying areas in 98.

The county chief is a great guy and has really changed things around there for the better. All the county boys really like him. The bad news is he might have to retire soon due to some problems everyone is having with pers. John ryan left a long time ago and as for washington he ran the city dept so far down the drain the city pretty much told him to retire or be fired. We now have greg gammon as chief and is doing extremely well for us and plans on opening 15 stations in the next 10 years.

Well hang in there guy. I can't say the retirement is what it's cut out to be. Adrenilen junkies miss the rush. Good to hear the exspansion is going on you guy's need it. I always wondered how Washington made Chief. Hopefully they learned from past actions. Promoting by quallifications and not political ties. 25 years on the county taught me that. If you have any problem finnding anythng for your truck an old buddy of mine from las vegas high an atty. has rebuilt a few Dale Haley. A great mechanic Ken Steele retired BC is one of the best if he's still putsing not many around the city department I really know anymore went to paramedic training with a few the second class in the state.

Hey Nick, If you have any questions or problems, I have alot of friends that are working on one or two of there projects every weekend. I will do what I can to help you out. Good luck on winning the contest. It will be a couple years before my lovely wife is going to let me spend alot of time at the shop working. I was a volunteer firefighter for two and half years. Mainly first attack and second search and rescue. I tested to be a paid firefighter, but at 130 pounds a few years ago, nobody really takes you serious. I am going to try again in the next couple years though. Its hard to get it out of your system.
