thank you for the kind words Richard i check out you site and there is some real nice work there , that has to be the straightest scout i have ever seen. i too live in a smaller town called Vernon , British Columbia , canada. north end of the okanagan valley , but with the world wide web the world has become a much smaller place.i hope to have as many customers as you have one day, but truth be told i havent really sold a lot of art so far ,as im pretty much an unknown .hope to change that

WoW! Kelly, I just checked out your work and damn, you are good. That is some of the best work, I have ever seen in my 61 years in this business.

Kelly, it looks like Mike taught you well. I learned the hard way, using his dvd's and a lot of practice. I've been doing classics and street rods for over 40 years, but only airbrushing for 5 years, and I like to say, still learning. I live in a small town called Caddo Mills, Tx. which is 40 miles east of Dallas. Where do you live? You can check out my work at caddocustoms.com

thanks richard, kind words are always appreciated.
i have been airbrushing for 25yrs , and until recently havent had the oppertunity to put it to use in the automotive world. after i took a course with mike lavallee in Anaheim, California,i was able to put the new learned skills of truefire to my humble but acceptable automotive painting skills and of course to apply the images was just a natural progression ,i am not well known and would appreciate any ''word of mouth '' as i would like to be able to continue persuing the airbrush work but alas unless you have paying customers that airbrush keeps a meter running just to use it . if you might like to see more then check out youtube http://youtu.be/9tOo-11tO5A

Good Morning custom Painters,  Thought I would share my '76 Ford F100.  It has a one of a kind paint job, Medium Green Metallic Glamour Glow (as described on the original window sticker), it is a factory paint scheme and I have never seen another like it. The rest of the truck is also 100% original.

If anyone is familiar with the paint or has seen another I would love to hear about it.  I have searched the net and can't find another like it.  My dad bought the truck from the show room at Herald ford in Sacramento, Ca in 1975 complete with paint, wheels, motor, and trans.  Ford Motor did a search and their records show that it is the only one made, but also said that sometimes they would make a couple of test paint schemes and send them to different markets.

Cheers,

Wes.
