I own a 1989 Ramcharger which has been an ongoing battle to keep running due to electrical issues. My RC had the unfortunate problem of having sat for nearly 6 years on a friends property, and the little furry critters had done their job on the wiring and had built a nest in the Air Box next to the heater core. After taking care of that stuff, I next had to replace the fuel lines... all of them from back to front and the inline filter. Next were the engine's computer sensors. They all went bad at once. Now the computer itself is acting up. It's a damn good thing I was trained in this stuff back in technician school or else I probably would have scrapped the truck by now.

Hey guy, I have a real good piece of advice for ya... Get yer hands on an older Mitchel or Factory Dodge repair manual because it sounds to me that you are facing a wiring nightmare and are going to need the schematics to get everything straightened out

some body die? no comments or problems thoughout our group? what's going on?  anything different or good?

our R.C. took a serious dump. had the electrical problem resolved and  my nephew rebuilt  the the carb . The old was so carb was jacked and basically ''washed out'' the the cylinders. It was like Grandma with  one foot in the grave and the other on a bananna peel.Back  to square one. will probably get a long block or scrapyard motor.

thanks. it's a good site. i seen it before. our RC has an electrical issue. we're still trying to pinpoint it. not enough hours in the day to get anything done it seems like.  i'll sign up when i get some down time. thanks again.
