thanks for all the help!!! im not sure what year the motor is yet i havent run the numbers .its a 2bbl and has a road draft tube on the back of the block.it could have the wrong exhaust manifolds ive never seen the drivers side manifold with a mounting pad facing the front of the motor usually its on the side.i will try to get some pics on tonight.THANKS AGAIN for all the help

What I have done in the passt is build an s bracket from the manifold to the atl. and it works

its a 64 impala 283 short waterpump,ramhorn manifolds,alt on drivers side.stock pullys the car has power steering.the problem is the car was bought as someone elses project and i think im missing the correct brackets to mount it .the bracket i have mounts the alt on the front of the drivers side manifold.not on the side like the earlyer ram horns.
