Thanks grampy...maybe just an illusion..it looks huge to me!! i am using a real shot air assembly tho because i am doin a cool air intake system for it. so i think it should be ok!

Hey there 68 Camaro,( Side note 68 Camaro is my Wifes favorite car, a red soft top)back at hand. Yes it should fit,because they should the same height aand if not they will be real close.

Okay Glad your sticking around to keep all us whipersnappers in line. I Understand the physical part and I dont want you to hurt yourself more so take it easy. I dont have any other car nuts in the family so your kinda liker my car crazed uncle I never had. Take it easy Ron.

hey stopping by all the groups i am in hoping someone could help me out.  I am wondering if anyone has every put an edelbrock air gap intake on a first gen camaro with a stock style hood.  just curious how it fit. thanks everyone!!

Hi Ron & everyone else. I'll be getting back to my '69 Camaro by the second week of March. I just have the left 1/4, rocker panel & trunk dropdown panel to install as far as major body panels go. I'll be ready to put her back on her feet no later than this July. I do still have some minor body work to do on the fenders(minor rust), hood(small ding in the side of the cowl & trunk lid(minor rust). Ron, glad you're gonna stick around my friend. I really appreciate the knowledge & kindness that yopu extended to all of us.

Yea, I'll still be around. I'm just physically unable to continue hands on for much longer.

Clarence, I had a car come in once that had a "big dent in the door". I commented that it looked like a size 10. She said "WOW! That IS what size he wears!". Lucky guess. LOL. So ya never will know what happened, but I'm bettin' it was intentional damage.

This car is going completely original (other than using a bed liner coating for the undercoating since it will be a driver) so it will be the original burgendy in base/clear acrylic urethane. I'll keep the pics coming as it should progress faster now that all the structural and panel replacement has been completed. I want this car to be up to my best standards for two reasons: 1) It belongs to a friend who appreciates my work and what all is involved. And 2) This is my last one.
