I am using a regular s10 factory radiator and a long chevy water pump with flex a lite dual electric fans. I have atleast 4 to 5 inches of clearence between the rad and the water pump pulley. If you want more room, go with a short water pump setup.

i am using the rad and stock h2o pump from my donor slomaro's 305 but am thinking about going to a electric pump for the lightly modded 305

I would go to www.s10v8swap.com...they have every parts to do a bolt in V8 swap in an S-10. Check them out!!!
