Im trying to find out the best way to repair the cab section where the door hindges bolt on cab.the metal on cab portion is rusted(not completly through the whole way)the whole lengh.can it be cut out and new metal welded without structural damage to cab.is it a simple cut and weld job?

hey guys just joined have always owned chevy's currently an 05 1500 hd 6 ltr crew cab silverado and my project is a 78 silverado short bed 350 work in progress hopefully can get some help or give some in the future

needs a little work but thats the fun part,needs a drivers side bed side the fiberglass step at the rear is broke,exhaust donut and tires,minor things lol

Welcome to the group Robert. Sounds like you made a good trade. I have a '95 3/4 extended cab 4x4 and love it. They are good trucks.

Hi guys and gals im new in this group i was in the grand cherokee one but sold my grand cherokee yesterday and bought a 92 chevy ext cab 4x4 stepside for $975 this morning need a little work but it drives.
