LQ4 = LS1?

I am not sure other than the ls1 is an all aluminum engine and the lq4 has a cast iron block with aluminum heads. The ls1 has a better performance cam also. Hope that this is right and helps.

The ls1 is an aluminum block 5.7l, and the lq4 is an iron block 6.0l. The ls1 comes mostly in cars, and the ld4 comes in trucks/suvs.
