K&N filter, Throttle body spacer and a hypertech Chip. Filter is about $45, Spacer is about $60 both available from local parts stores. The Chips can vary in price.. usually from about $200 +

i am not sure if this truck will accept a chip as to the fact it is carberated what do you think???

Try some headers and a cross over pipe in the exhaust this will equalize the pressure in both pipes and also help with exhaust gas scavaging, some say it also makes your engine have just alittle more power and mileage. If that is an old carborated 350, then you are probably runnin a 700R4 trans, if so you can add a shift improver kit. I hear that alot of people are also changin out all the fluids for fully synthetic fluids in search of more power and better gas mileage. You can also try upgrading your ignition to like an MSD unit. Plug wires and all. I'm also hearin good things about those new E-3 plugs, I put a set in my truck and noticed it felt like it had a small amount more pep, nothing major, but just enough to notice if you put your foot in it. I would also look into changin out the intake and carb for a better one. Then there's always the cam and lifter swap. Hope any of this helps you man. Good luck with it.

Are you still on active duty man? If so where ya stationed if ya don't mind me askin. I'm assumin your military cause of your sign in soldier1. I spent some time in the military myself. If you are stationed around some of the places I have been, I might be able to help point you in the right direction for local places to get parts and labor.

I'm sure you will do just fine man, if not they wouldn't be sendin you. Just do your best and I'm sure that you will be givin those guys some trainin that will keep them alive and bring them home safely. Good luck with it man, and I have talked to some friends that have been stationed down there. They all told me the same thing. Once you get there you shouldn't have much of a problem findin someone to help you with your truck or findin the parts to build it up the way that you want it. Good luck with it man.
