ya my dad is helping me restore it use to belong to my uncle and he had it totally restoredat one point with the help of my dad then he just let it sit i gues and then he had to get rid of it fast so he sold it to use with a parts truck for $1000 then later after cleaning up the parts truck and motor we sold it for $2500 haha so pretty much we got paid to take it.but ya there was no motor and stuff so we bot an old motor rebuilt it and put it in.(the pic i have there was taken in 1990)

Hey Sheldon, Thats really cool !!! I love the truck and hope you have lots of fun restoring her. You may not realize it now, but these memories will last you a life time. Is your dad helping you, or are you doing this solo ?

your only 14 and your restoring a 1957 4x4 nice ride, i'll be getting one of those trucks when i'm finished restoring my 58 pontiac. i hope your having fun . good luck in restoring.

Does anyone know if there is a steering kit available for a chevy 14 bolt axle. One of my customers want to replace the front Dana 44 on his truck because he had to walk 60km out of the bush because of a failure.
