Good change of subject Jefferson, and way to go Adam! I havent used that brand of compound before, but hey, the Nova is in primer so it doesnt matter for it anyway. Might look to try it on my truck though. Now how do you plan to top Red Lobster Adam?

Russ,
It is very true this isnt going to go anywhere. YOu have your beliefs, and I am sure you saw a lot of us here dont agree with them, and havent budged on our beliefs too. That is why I am going to leave it at this outcome, without bashing on you anymore. If anything, if all of us do share the same ideas that Americans do it best, and want to support our wonderful country, instead of fighting amongst ourselves, we should stand together and fight for our country and our fellow Americans. So with that, BE AMERICAN, BUY AMERICAN!

ya know guys you are right this conversation is going know here good, am not totally defending the import companies but you are sure bashing the for chasing the same thing we all chase, the AMERICAN DREAM. They came here to build, and sell cars. not any different then Henry Ford, the Dodge brothers, and the rest. It is not my fault the united states governement screwed everthing up. Yes the unions had a place in history, yes working conditions improved, but now they are telling the PRIVATE OWNERS of the companies what to do. If they think they can run the companies better let them buy the companies and run them better, not just complain about it. You know the old addage step up or shut up. As far as the mileage thing all I know is what they tell me. The news broadcast stated the Big three where paying out 75 dollars and hour, this may include the benefits they get too but still that is a lot more then the average person makes at least around here. I do know my father -in-law test drove the new hemi challengers up here in northern Minnesota and the 5.7 car was getting 18mpg, and the 6.1 car was getting 25mpg. He also said driving the 6.1 hemi was a hoot. I am also glad to see there is still some fire in the American spirit, at least in the car world anyway. I did not intend to make anybody mad just open up a view opposing what they were talking about. And it worked, wow

I am not here to try and insult anyone that wishes to support the "others", I feel like this is part of another reason we should be proud to be Americans, the freedom of speech, and the freedom to expession! Russ, I feel bad about you getting slammed after a simple comment, but you have to realise, this is probably not the place to log onto and slam fellow Americans (union workers) and to give praise to any foriegn companies! While I have listened to you're opinion, and do respect what you were originally trying to say, this conversation really isn't going to go anywhere that is good! I think at one point in time we have all considered owning a foriegn car, or have owned one, hell, even I have owned a honda civic and a nissan maxima when i was younger! Fact is..... I have owned both of these cars and I have owned a ton of Chevy's, Fords, Dodges, Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles...... but, mostly Fords and Chevy's and I can honestly say that no-one and I mean no-one builds as good of quality car as the Americans!!!! I also have been a certified mechanic for over 11 years now and have worked on about any type of car you could possibly think of, and have done litteraly hundreds of thousands of performance mods on all kinds of vehicles, and I am here to tell you the foriegn companies are no longer where it's at! Thank you all for speaking you're minds on this subject, it is really good to see that there is still some proud people in this country that feel the same as I do!

Russ, ever hear of nafta? North America Free Trade Agreement, the wonderful Bill Clinton signed????????? That is why OUR factories are packing up and heading out. Not just the union. Once again, I ask you How many plants would be here if they didnt sell that many imports here in America. The workers that work for the imports would be working for Ford,Gm,& Chrysler. As far as parts you can find them if you know where to look. Oem parts can still be found. Russ do those Toyota guys have some naked pictures of you with another woman or a horse?? 600 hp by removing twin turbos and installing a single???? do you rember the dodge stealth?? twin turbos, overhead cams, 4 valves per cyclinder and only 300 horse and about 18-20 mpg. Russ I do appologize for the horse comment but man it just isnt happening. you have been watching to many fast and furious movies. LONG LIVE AMERICAN MUSCLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
