Okay so I drove to London, Ontario and bought the 1990 4 runner. It has 178,000 original kms on it. It runs like a top and drives well also. The engine you can eat off of it. The guy keep it up extremely well. I am going to Toronto to purchase 31/10.5/15 x-terrain tires for it. Hope that will make it look a bit meaner.

Hey guys. I am interested in buying a 1990 4runner and was wondering if there is anything that I should be looking out for? As it stands it has 178,0000km on it, not sure if it is a rebuilt/replacement motor. I also am looking at a 1994 which has 257,000km on it? The 90 is a 5spd and I think the 94 is an automatic. Need some input please.
