Matt, What model 351 do you have and is it EFI if not it will be easier. Ford changed their engine cylinder heads intake and pistons in 1977 going from a 9.1 compression to  an 8.1  compression the pistons in a 76 and earlier had a dished out 9 to 1 piston the 77's had 10.5 to 1 you can take a early model heads and intake and put on the later model block and really wake that engine up by just swapping heads and intake 1970 302's were pushing 210 horse power with a 2 barrel carburetor 77 was pushing 135 by doing the swap you can get to 270 or plus horse power according to how much money you want too put into it like open exhaust 4 barrel intake and cam hope this helps you.

Has anyone ever tried to convert a Samuri to a UTV.. UTV's are expensive... But a Sami, is cheap and for half the price I was thinking i could make a nice one out of a sami. Cut the axles down and dump the body to make it the same wheel base, but stronger then a UTV. Any advice would be welcome.. I built a 74 bronco before, and learned a lot along the way, and would like to skip some of the painful ones someone may have run into.
